Layout and Design
Keeping the original layout, the team combined the entrance hall storage with the TV wall, extending storage and creating a cohesive look. They added a kitchen island that doubles as a dining table and a bar, perfect for hosting or a quiet night in 🍽️🍷. The corner transition from the bathroom to the balcony cleverly houses a storage room for bulky items like camping gear and suitcases.
Entrance Hall & Living Room
Right from the entrance, the space oozes simplicity and calmness. On each side, there's a shoe cabinet and a sliding door storage that stretches to the TV wall. The open shelving is ready for books and knick-knacks, allowing for mood-driven decor changes. The minimalist grey sofa and wooden cat tree add a serene touch, making the space open and inviting.
Dining & Kitchen Area
The open kitchen with its linear island/table not only offers ample space for cooking but also becomes the heart of the home during gatherings. The designers chose a cute mustard yellow pendant light, adding a layer of relaxed, retro charm to the area.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom follows the same wood and white theme. A sliding door separates the dressing area, offering flexibility for future furniture additions. The simple wall lights and a small table lamp create a cozy reading nook, ensuring a peaceful sleeping area.
Second Bedroom
This room serves as the lady of the house's workout area. With its high ceiling and simple shelving and desk, it's a breathable space, avoiding any feeling of claustrophobia during exercise sessions 💪.
Bathroom
The standalone washbasin design allows simultaneous use for various activities, maximizing space efficiency. The designers used tiny mosaic tiles for a detailed and easy-to-clean look, with floating storage cabinets and a dedicated spot for a robot vacuum, making every inch count.
In short, this 20-ping apartment is a testament to the power of minimalist design, proving that less can indeed be more in creating a warm, personal, and utterly cozy living space. 🌿🤍
