A 50-Ping Minimalist Home Tour

Imagine a home where the essence of minimalism meets functionality, and where natural light dances through the rooms. This 50-ping residence, renovated by Zui Design's Director Chen, showcases a transformation that breathes life and light into an old terraced house troubled by odors and poor lighting. The result? A space where simplicity reigns supreme, and family thrives.

Ground Floor Plan: Maximizing Light and Space The design team worked wonders by removing the first-floor walls, creating a dual car parking area that also invites natural light inside. The exterior is a blend of white and silver-gray aluminum plates, offering a sleek and modern look, while unique square brick walls on the upper floors add a touch of individuality and privacy.

Bright and Welcoming Living Room The living room is a haven of serenity with its white walls and gray stone-wooden floors. The upstairs balcony transforms into a picturesque garden under a skylight, further enhancing the room's spaciousness. In a unique twist, the island's side serves as a TV mount, blending entertainment with culinary delights.

Open Kitchen with Functional Island The one-wall kitchen layout extends into an island, multiplying counter space and storage. It's not just a kitchen but also a TV wall, a genius merge of functionality and design. The dining area, complete with carefully selected furniture and lighting, offers a cozy family gathering spot.

2nd Floor: Cozy and Private The master bedroom continues the theme of white and wood, complemented by abundant natural light, making it a peaceful retreat. The use of translucent glass sliding doors for the dressing room maintains an airy feel in a compact space.

Uncluttered Living Area The living area is deliberately understated, featuring only a display cabinet and bookcase for toys and collectibles. This thoughtful design provides ample space for children to play and for the family to adapt the area to their evolving needs.

A Stairway to Comfort The staircase, with its birch plywood steps, adds a touch of warmth and elegance, beautifully connecting the home's two levels.

This home is not just a living space; it's a canvas where nature's changes are felt even indoors, thanks to the thoughtfully designed skylight. It's a testament to how minimalistic design can create a home that's both functional and serene, a perfect setting for a modern family to grow and thrive. 🌿🏠💡
