A Spacious Sanctuary: Unveiling a 45-Pyeong Wood-Themed Vacation Home

The Story Begins: A Family's Dream for a Spacious Home 🌟 Accustomed to the open and uncluttered homes abroad, Ms. He and her family, long-term residents of San Francisco, wanted a similar vibe for their Taiwanese abode. They craved a home where every entry felt like stepping into a holiday, and Yuan Mu Workshop's natural wooden style nailed it!

The Design Odyssey 🖌️ Fed up with cramped, cabinet-crammed Taiwanese homes, the family scoured the internet for a design firm that resonated with their love for spaciousness and wood. It seemed like fate – every design they adored turned out to be Yuan Mu Workshop's creations. After several designer interviews, Yuan Mu's layouts and styles won their hearts!

A Blank Canvas 🎨 Their new place, still a rough shell during the initial stages, shared a building with the brother's family upstairs. The challenge? Transforming this raw, column-riddled space into a cozy haven.

The Renovation Vision 👀 The He family's must-haves: a spacious public area, private rooms for everyone, a shared workspace, and – importantly – no overkill with cabinets! They believed in decluttering and living space, not storage space.

Wooden Wonders: The Heart of Design 💓 Wooden elements became the design's soul, with American-style wooden grilles, intertwined wood decorations, and carved wooden windows. The aim? A natural and relaxed vibe without feeling too rigid.

The Creative Layout: Every Corner Tells a Story 🏠 The dining and kitchen area, bathed in natural light, became the heart of the home. The entrance featured a wooden wall doubling as a foyer and TV stand, adding depth to the living room. The most ingenious part? A Japanese-style guest room between the living room and kitchen, with flexible sliding doors that either integrate or separate the spaces.

The Living Room: A Retreat by the Window ☀️ Flooded with sunlight, the living room, just past the wooden foyer wall, was their sanctuary. The TV was subtly integrated into the wooden wall, and the ceiling transformed into a vacation-style pitched roof, visually enlarging the space and softening the existing beams.

And More... 🌿 The dining area, kitchen with a deep blue hue, and master bedroom with a fresh green palette, each space was carefully designed to embrace openness and relaxation. The bathroom doors, crafted to maintain dryness and privacy, echoed the wooden theme from the living room.

A Journey of Trust and Quality 🔍 Throughout the renovation, the He family wasn't always in Taiwan. But thanks to the meticulous and quality-focused approach of designer Li Jia Yu and the responsible construction team, the process was smooth, environmentally conscious, and respectful to the neighbors.

The Happy Ending: A Home to Return To 🏡 Now, when the He family visits Taiwan, their stay is not just comfortable but something they look forward to – a true testament to a home that feels like a perpetual holiday, blending spaciousness and the warmth of wood.

And that, my friends, is how a 45-pyeong space turned into a cozy, wooden-themed vacation home, where every corner whispers stories of family, relaxation, and nature's embrace. 🍃🏠✨
