Maximize Your Space: A Cozy 16-Ping Home Makeover!

The Quest for a New Nest

Post-baby, Mr. Luo and family longed for a new abode away from their damp 23-ping space. They chose a pre-sale property that not only had great surroundings and was convenient, but also had a move-in date that synced perfectly with their kiddo’s school start! 🚸

Finding the Design Wizard

Mrs. Luo, a design maven herself, was already impressed by Beright Design. After a chance meeting with the head honcho, Mr. Luo was sold on their professionalism and meticulous approach. Though his sister chose someone else for her home, the Luos were set on entrusting their future abode to Beright. 🧙‍♂️✨

Space Needs: A Magic Spell for Functionality

With just 16 pings of living space, the Luos craved for a home that wasn't too cramped, had ample storage, and boasted smooth traffic flow and bright lighting. Voilà! Their designer conjured up a layout that maximized functionality with minimal structural changes.

A Glimpse of the Enchantments

  • Swapping the dining and living room to open up space near the window for dining.

  • Transforming the kitchen wall into a bar to enhance light and transparency.

  • Shrinking the secondary bedroom.

  • Shifting the master bedroom door and adding a magnetic blackboard wall.

The Storage Sorcery

Despite the size, every nook was thoughtfully utilized. From the entrance to the bathroom, every storage unit was sleekly integrated into the walls. The dining table doubled as a work desk, and the kitchen boasted top cabinets for the Luos' sky-high storage needs. 🧙‍♀️📚

Post-Makeover Wonderland

  • The entrance area was reimagined to avoid any door jamming and facilitate a smoother flow.

  • A simple yet sophisticated TV wall, with hidden storage for audio-visual gadgets and bathroom essentials.

  • A kitchen with a twist! The designer created a curved beam extending to the curtain box, giving a unified look without compromising on space.

  • The dining area, inspired by Japanese 'stand-and-eat' bars, was crafted at an optimal height for hosting and interaction.

  • The master bedroom, with a concealed door, featured a cozy, thick headboard with handy sockets for charging and storing essentials.

Three Months In: Living the Dream

Three months down the line, the Luos are living proof that good design can make even a smaller space feel spacious and functional. With well-utilized storage, the couple's new home feels more comfy than a coffee shop, and they still haven't filled up all their cabinets! Their favorite spot? The well-lit dining area, which offers the best view of their cozy kingdom. ☕🌞

A Home That Feels Like Magic!

From a cluttered previous home to a neatly organized and spacious new one, this 16-ping apartment is nothing short of a design miracle! 🌟🏡
