Storage Genius: 90% Tucked Away in One Wall!

Chapter 1: The House Hunt 🕵️‍♀️ Once upon a time, Ms. Liu, a public servant, journeyed to Kaohsiung for work and decided to stay. Following her boss's advice, she swapped rent for mortgage payments and snagged her first home in the then underdeveloped Nanzih District. Fast forward 19 years, and thanks to a traffic nightmare courtesy of TSMC's new presence, it was time for a change. New house, here we come!

Chapter 2: Finding the Fairy Godmother of Design 🧚‍♀️ Enter our design heroes, Ode Planning, for round two. Their first magical collaboration was a bathroom renovation five years prior. This time, after a fruitless search for a move-in-ready, furnished apartment, Ms. Liu returned to Ode, who confidently promised a swift renovation – music to her ears!

Chapter 3: The Magical Layout Transformation 🪄 The new place, a cozy 15-pyeong, came with a 2-bedroom, 2-living room, 2-bathroom layout. Ms. Liu's only request? A minimalist, Muji-inspired white design. Ode, familiar with her hoarding (oops, I mean collecting!) habits, focused on maximizing storage while keeping things spacious and open.

Before & After: The Great Reveal 🤩

  • Living Room & Kitchen: They knocked down part of the wall, blending the kitchen and living room for an open, airy feel. The once dark doors now matched the home's new color scheme.

  • Multi-Purpose Room: An unfurnished room transformed into a versatile space with custom storage under the beams.

  • Kitchen: The wall extended to accommodate the fridge and a new island table, making room for culinary adventures and coffee brewing sessions.

  • Bedroom: Cozy yet functional, filled with warm vibes.

Chapter 4: The Grand Tour 🌟

  • Living Room: The entrance, once cramped, now welcomed guests without assaulting them with a sofa arm. The large beam overhead cleverly disguised as a shoe cabinet and storage unit kept the space tidy.

  • Dining & Kitchen: The once blocked-off kitchen now boasted a shortened wall, an ideal layout reminiscent of her old home's open kitchen.

  • Multi-Purpose Room: Doubling as a study and a dining area for guests, this room featured a large desk and stylish lighting.

  • Master Bedroom: Simple and clean, with a half-wooden headboard and functional shelves, maintaining a minimalist charm.

Chapter 5: Happily Ever After 🌈 Ms. Liu praised Ode for their speedy work, allowing her to sell her old place on time. The design team's efficient communication and attention to detail, from furniture dimensions to appliance recommendations, made the process a breeze.

The Moral of the Story 📖 Six months into living in her new abode, Ms. Liu's biggest takeaway? "The storage is fabulous!" No clutter in sight, and her home remains as pristine and minimalist as day one. Friends and family can't stop raving about how cozy and chic it is!

And that's the story of how Ms. Liu's modest 15-pyeong space became a storage wonderland and a cozy, Muji-style dream home. 🏡🌟
