Tiny House, Big Style: 20-Ping Modern Home Maximizes Space & Storage! 🏠

Home Situation: A newly built 21-ping space styled in modern decor, ideal for a couple and their feline friend. Moving away from the Muji-inspired design of their previous home, they yearned for a minimalist yet cozy abode. The design team at Mu Guang Design ditched the light wood and whites for a sleek combo of grey tones and dark wood, creating a cat-friendly haven with hidden storage galore.

Layout Magic: Transforming the original 3-bedroom, 2-living room, 2-bathroom space, the team reshaped the layout to suit the couple's lifestyle. The master bedroom got cozy with the dressing room, while both of their studies doubled as multi-functional spaces. The entrance was redefined with a partially open cabinet for a bright and organized welcome.

Entrance Design: The shoe cabinet's open-top design allows light to flood in, making the entrance feel more spacious.

Storage Room | Dining Area: They cleverly used the depth of a structural pillar to carve out a storage room for bulky items like suitcases and golf clubs. A rotating dining table is neatly tucked away when not in use, freeing up space for the family's cat to roam.

Living Room Design: The living room oozes minimalism and serenity, with a grey Italian seamless floor extending from the entrance. The TV wall is coated in a grey gradient, with a comfy sofa upholstered in cat-scratch-friendly fabric.

Kitchen: The kitchen now boasts a trendy iron and grey glass sliding door, not only keeping the fumes at bay but also visually aligning with the rest of the space.

Hallway Planning: A portion of the bedroom was transformed into a storage-packed hallway, strategically positioned at the heart of the house for easy access to essentials.

Master Bedroom Design: The bedroom, in white cabinets and light grey tones, continues the home's calm and grounded feel. Despite having a separate dressing room, additional storage was added by the window and under the laundry rack.

Guest Bedroom Design: The husband's study, with its bed and subtly divided work and sleep areas, doubles as a guest room.

Design Secrets: "We aimed for a softer home atmosphere, avoiding harsh direct lighting and instead opting for aluminum strip lights and indirect lighting to set the mood," said Mu Guang Design.

So there you have it - a 20-ping haven that's both stylish and functional, where every nook and cranny is thoughtfully designed for living, working, and cat cuddling! 🛋️🐾🏡
